Respect for all; connecting to nature; and encouraging creativity and curiosity to bind knowledge to life – these are the values we remind ourselves of when we design activities and trips. For each group we tailor communication, role-playing and participation methods to reach for growth.
It is noted in guidelines for assessing outdoor centres that the competence and integrity of activity leaders is probably the single most important factor for assuring safety and good practice
We are mainly a blue planet
When it comes to activism or the environment, find the cause you really connect with and then please join in. How you live, and particularly what you choose to consume, affects decisions made by others. We ask students to get involved in small ways, even just picking some litter might create some change.
